I was born in Queens, NY but spent most of my adolescence and young adult life in the Orlando, Florida area. I was a first career Firefighter/EMT until feeling called back on the path of my youth, to be a Lutheran Pastor. My BA is in Christian Education. I have an MDiv from Luther Seminary. I have served ELCA ministries in different roles in Florida, Minnesota, and Indiana, the last being as Campus Pastor at Purdue University. I have also served as chaplain with the Lafayette fire department and the 81TC/2IGR part of the Indiana National Guard. I am married to the love of my life, Holly and the proud father of an Army Infantry Corporal (hdc), a queer artist and an inquisitive teen. I love the game of football; having played or coached
for most of my life.
As Lead Pastor, I find myself being the standard bearer, cheerleader and vision caster while listening to the hopes and dreams of the people here at Trinity.
Our vision which has come from my conversations and thoughts,
can be found on the home page.
I love Trinity because we want to engage and be engaged, to love and be loved, to serve because Christ first served us. You are welcome in this place. We are not perfect and we will make mistakes but Christ’s radiant love permeates every corner as we trust the Holy Spirit and follow
our Lord and Savior.

After spending my childhood and college years in the Driftless Region of Wisconsin, I moved to Colorado in the summer of 2020 after being humbled by mountains, open skies, and cold lakes.
The most formative years of my faith were working 5 summers at Sugar Creek Bible Camp in Ferryville, WI. During this time I grew in my relationship with the creator, in my teaching applications, my love for the Mississippi River, and reveled in joy and laughter with my closest friends.
My experience in children's faith formation grew extensively through volunteering at my home church and mentorship from passionate faith leaders. My biggest desire is to cultivate worship experiences for multi-generational communities where all are inspired by the Holy Spirit through praise and prayer.
After five years in public education, I am honored to work side by side with the youth, young adults, and families of Trinity as we grow together in love for one another and our creator.

I am a recent Colorado transplant who loves spending time out in God's beautiful creation. I have been playing music in the church my whole life, and it is truly my passion. I grew up in Aurora, IL and am a Midwestern girl at heart. After graduating from Purdue with a degree in Chemistry, I started teaching at The Vanguard School and found Trinity not long after.
My faith has always been influenced by powerful music led by strong Christian leaders, and with their mentorship I am thrilled to be part of the worship and music team at Trinity. My dream is to see Trinity grow with a new generation of members, while honoring the work and ministries of Trinity's lifelong members.
Outside of teaching and music, I am a hiker, swimmer, food-lover, and amateur home-improvement DIYer. I enjoy spending time with my husband, Joe, exploring the breathtaking terrain Colorado has to offer. We both feel incredibly blessed to have been welcomed into the Trinity family.

I was raised near Seattle, and after graduating from the University of Washington (Go Huskies!!), I joined the US Air Force. I met my wife Janet (an Air Force nurse) at our first duty station in Montana (I was an intercontinental ballistic missile launch crew member), and we have been married 31 years. We are now retired from the Air Force (I served 25.5 years), currently living in Colorado Springs. having lived in Germany, Illinois, Colorado (twice), Montana (twice), northern Virginia, and Maine (Air Force Recruiting).
We have a 13 year old goldendoodle (Mia) and two daughters: Mariah, a gifted artist in Denver, and Kayla, an Air Force second lieutenant attending medical school near Boise. I like to travel, hike and otherwise spend time in the great outdoors, watch Husky and Denver Broncos football, and work on Janet’s honey-do list. I also work part time as a Quality Services Inspector for DENTCO from April-November; inspecting landscaping in the southern half of Colorado.
I serve as the part time Financial Manager for Trinity. My main roles are preparing bank deposits, records and acknowledging donations to the church, helping develop the church budget, and otherwise managing all financial transactions.
(ED NOTE: And about 45,000 other things, especially in this time of transition, because he serves this church, it's people and Jesus with his whole heart!! Brian is a MINISTER OF STEWARDSHIP if ever I've met one!)
I love the Trinity community and really appreciate Lutheran liturgy. I am privileged to serve the church as financial manager and am rewarded to help Trinity, hoping to be making a difference.
