The holiday season can be a time of joy, but for many, it also brings feelings of grief, discouragement, or emotional heaviness. Trinity Lutheran Church invites the community to a special service, “Light in the Darkness,” on December 18 at 6:30 PM, designed to offer a peaceful space for reflection, remembrance, and the comforting presence of God.
This gentle, contemplative service acknowledges that not everyone enters the holidays with ease. Whether someone is mourning the loss of a loved one, navigating difficult life circumstances, or simply feeling overwhelmed, Light in the Darkness provides an environment of stillness and hope. Attendees are welcome to remain in the sanctuary as long as needed- there is no rush and no expectation- only an open invitation to be still, remember, and reflect.
The service is open to everyone, regardless of church background or faith tradition. Trinity Lutheran Church warmly welcomes all who seek a moment of peace in a season that can feel complicated.
