THE LITTLE LIBRARY has been installed at the Elephant Rock Mobile Home Community Bus Stop, and we have created a TEAM to support the care and restocking of the library and connection and outreach efforts to the kids and families
who utilize that Bus Stop.
We are sooo grateful to the Ehrhardt Family for construction of the site that is the home to the Little Library! AND...we are looking for partnership in a few ways:
1. Bringing gently used books for all ages to our donation bin for restocking the library
2. Be an active part of the MC and take a
1 month slot in the rotation to check on the library and restock it when necessary.
3. Participate in outreach events like popsicle handout, breakfast bags, special holiday outreach etc, GOAL 1: Getting to know the kids well who wait
at the Bus Stop each day.
THE BOOKS ARE
THE VESSEL FOR RELATIONSHIP.
It's one of those tricky Jesus things!
Your continued support of Trinity Lutheran Church has been a tremendous blessing as we have navigated these difficult times. We are so grateful to our pledgers, online givers, one time givers and everyone who supports the mission and ministry with loose offerings!
The monthly and year to date contributions and expenses are shared in the weekly Constant Contact. Please see Pastor Mike if you are not signed up.
SOMETHING TO SMILE ABOUT:
There are now 37 families supporting Trinity via Amazon Smile (up from 33 families in October). Amazon Smile donated $69.27 to Trinity in March, from your 2021 4th Quarter purchases of $13,854. Thank you! Thank you also for supporting Trinity with your grocery purchases. The church received $463.80 from King Soopers in February from 2021 4th Quarter purchases.
Please contact Brian (brian@trinitymonument.org) if you have any questions regarding Amazon Smile, King Soopers, or Safeway or Natural Grocer cards.
We the congregation of Trinity Lutheran Church, acknowledge and honor the Cheyenne, the Apache, the Ute and the Ocethi Sakowin peoples, upon whose ancestral homelands we gather. We give thanks for their presence here since time immemorial and their nurture and care for this land. We also wish to recognize and honor all our Indigenous siblings who have and continue to care for this land and call it their home.
