WE MADE IT TO JERUSALEM!
We had 6 weeks to get to JERUSALEM in time for Holy Week. We need 6913 miles to get us from Monument to Jerusalem. WE DID IT!
CONGRATULATIONS TO GERRY SHAW
FOR THE MOST MILES!
A handful of us from Trinity have been blessed to be part of THE FOOTSTEPS OF JESUS PILGRIMAGE. Each one of us would agree it is life transforming to have your foot touching down in all the same places where Jesus and His followers journeyed and to be listening in those places for what God's calling is to us today!

Bermuda (/bərˈmjuːdə/; historically known as the Bermudas or Somers Isles) is a British Overseas Territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. The closest land outside the territory is in the American state of North Carolina, approximately 1,035 km (643 mi) to the west-northwest. Bermuda is named after Spanish explorer Juan de Bermúdez, who discovered the archipelago in 1505. The islands have been permanently inhabited since 1612 when an English settlement was established at St. George's. Forming part of British America, Bermuda was governed under royal charter by the Somers Isles Company until 1684, when it became a crown colony. The first African slaves were taken to Bermuda in 1616, but a full plantation economy did not develop, and the slave trade largely ceased by the end of the 17th century. As of July 2018, Bermuda had a population of 71,176, making it the most populous of the British overseas territories.[1] Black Bermudians descended from slaves make up around 50% of the population, while White Bermudians, primarily of British, Irish and Portuguese descent, make up 30% of the population.
Angra do Heroísmo (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈɐ̃ɡɾɐ du eɾuˈiʒmu] (audio speaker iconlisten)), or simply Angra,[1][2] is a city and municipality on Terceira Island, Portugal, and one of the three capital cities of the Azores. Founded in 1478, Angra was historically the most important city in the Azores, as seat of the Bishop of the Azores, government entities, and having previously served as the capital city of Portugal during the Liberal Wars. The population in 2011 was 35,402,[3] in an area of 239.00 km².[4] It was classified as a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1983. At one stage, Angra had as many as nine convents, each with its own cloisters and churches. Most of these churches are from the Mannerist and Baroque periods, and they are remarkably grand if we bear in mind the poor quality of the stone to be found on the island. The interior decoration of these churches relied on the use of both traditional carved and gilded woodwork and the rich and exotic woods of Brazil.

JERUSALEM
All Holy Week, our group is accruing miles to take us into the heart
of the city, onto the very streets where Jesus encountered folks who needed His healing, folks who needed His feeding and teaching. Folks who needed to experience His love, and His life transforming perspective that they were seen, valued, forgiven and empowered to do even GREATER THINGS than they had experienced Him doing.
